David Cronenberg – Director, Writer(screenplay) and Producer. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Literature. He started out making horror films, many of which are cult classics. David is one of the creators of the body horror or venereal horror in which people’s fear of bodily transformation and infection is explored. His films of note include, Scanners (1981), Videodrome (1983), The Fly (1986), Naked Lunch (1991), eXistenZ (1999), History of Violence (2005),  Eastern Promises (2007), and A Dangerous Method (2011).

Paulo Branco – Producer. He worked with Frédéric Mitterand, the current French Minister of Culture and Communication, before beginning his work as a producer. Thirty of the films he has produced have been selected for the Cannes Film Festival. Branco has also received numerous awards for his work in European filmmaking.

Martin Katz – Producer. Katz holds law degrees from The University of Toronto and the University of Paris. He is the founder and President of Prospero Films, a Toronto based production and finance company. Prospero Pictures looks for creative film financing. He has been the President and COO of Grosvenor Park Financing Corporation and executive producer at The Microsoft Network Canada. Katz is credited as producer for It’s a Boy Girl Thing, Intervention and Closing the Ring. He has worked with David Cronenberg, as a producer for Spider and co-producing A Dangerous Method.

Peter Suschitzky – Cinematographer (Director of Photography). He studied at the Institute for Advanced Cinematographic Studies in Paris under Jean-Pierre Mundviller. He first began as a cameraman at age 22. Best Known Work – Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980). Peter has been nominated for a BAFTA Award for his work on Valentino(1977).

Howard Shore – Composer Original Score. He studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Howard has composed scores for over 40 films, including all but one of David Cronenberg’s. Best Known Works – Score for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
He has won three Academy Awards, two for his scoring of LOTR – Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and LOTR – Return of the King (2003), and one for best original song for Into the West (LOTR – Return of the King). He also won two Golden Globes and was nominated for another for his work on The Lord of the Rings. He won another Golden Globe for his score for The Aviator (2004). He was nominated for another Golden Globe for the score for Eastern Promises (2007).

Joe Boccia – Line Producer. Overseeing the day to day business of filming, the line producer is responsible from everything from the material costs of the film to overseeing the production and post-production crew. Boccia has worked on such films as Dolores Claiborne (1995), A Long Kiss Goodnight (1996), Splice (2009) and Devil (2010).

Arvinder Grewal – Production Designer. Creating the visuals for the film, from finding the ideal shoot locations to creating the set is the responsibility of the production designer. Grewal has worked on such films as Land of the Dead (2005), Jennifer’ Body (2009) and Resident Evil – Afterlife (2010). He has previously worked with David Cronenberg as the art director / assistant art director for Spider (2002), ExistenZ (1999) and Crash (1996). He was nominated for a DCG Award for Outstanding Production Design for Land of the Dead and shared a Genie Award nomination for Best Achievement in Art Direction and Production Design for Spider.

Renee Tab – Executive Producer. Formerly a literary agent and manager, Tab has just opened her own production/management company, Sentient Entertainment earlier this year.

Don DeLillo – Writer(novel). He graduated from Fordham University with a degree in communications and worked in the advertising industry before he quit and started writing. His first novel, Americana was published in 1970. Don has had 16 novels published. He has also penned a large number of short stories and essays, 4 plays and a screenplay. His writing has garnered many awards including a National Book Award for White Noise, a National Book Award finalist for Libra, and 2 nominations for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction for his works Underworld and Mao II.
